Think about them too!

Hi!

It has been a lull on the blog for quite a while so i thought why not convert this lull to the lull before a storm.

What i simply want to focus is on the Kashmir issue concerning the govt.

Concerning the govt.,only?

I think until it becomes a concerning issue for all of us,there would be no solution to it.

What concerns me is deep sense of alienation that fills the valley that even the army is against them.

The killing of Kashmiri civilians as "suspected" militants, and the later furore in the valley over missing people,is a proof of this.

For all Army men,as of the latest news, you can keep checking all farmers who will go to the fields in the morning.

But when they don't carry and weapons and are surely not militants, give them a big hug and say sorry to them.Show them that what you do is for their benefit only and for their safety only.

Peace,
sameer

Sameer we all know that Kashmeer is integral part of india. So be it.
But do you know about article 356, in indian constitution, which does not permit any indian to settle in kashmir. tell me one place in this world which has devloped after stopping immigrants. I dont know single such place. Scrap article 356, and remove army, provide central support to police, and who knows things might change.
and as of people being killed, by army...let me remind you that proving someone guilty in india takes long time, so sometimes you have to follow instincts and belief for judgment and army do same. Yes I agree that this process is not very human, but this is the way. and if you dont kill the suspected and if they really turn out to be millitants, then who is answerable...i know that you wont answer. but yes said that, i would prefer govt of india to invest in psychologists for army men over there, so that there judgment accuracy increases.
